▎Product Overview The CTP - G Thermal CTP plates is highly versatile for packaging and commercial printing, and compatible with major developers in the market.
▎How it protects
The tin layer acts as a barrier and also provides electrochemical protection in certain packed-food environments (tin can dissolve slightly and protect the steel substrate). In normal atmosphere, the tin coating is stable and helps resist rust. When specified with food-contact lacquers, tinplate is safe and reliable for canned food applications.
